This website is operated by Hungerhill Vineyard. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Hungerhill Vineyard.
By visiting our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service, including any additional policies referenced herein (such as our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy).
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
AGE RESTRICTION
You must be aged 18 or over to purchase alcohol from our website.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where age verification cannot be completed, including at the point of delivery.
OUR PRODUCTS
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and images are accurate. However, slight variations may occur.
All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend products at any time.
ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
Orders are only confirmed once payment has been received and processed.
Please check your order carefully before confirming, as we may not be able to amend or cancel orders once they have been processed.
PRICES & PAYMENT
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Delivery times are estimates and may vary.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside our control.
Once your order has been delivered to the address provided, responsibility for the goods passes to you.
WINE TASTINGS & EVENTS
Bookings for wine tastings and events are refundable if cancelled at least 7 days before the tasting date.
For cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice, we are happy to offer:
- a rescheduled date (subject to availability), or
- a credit/voucher to use towards a future booking or wine purchase
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for late cancellations or non-attendance.
If your plans change, we encourage you to let us know as early as possible and we’ll always do our best to help.
WINE CLUB (MERSTONE CLUB)
Membership to the Merstone Club includes scheduled wine deliveries throughout the year.
By purchasing a membership, you agree to receive two shipments unless cancelled before the next scheduled shipment.
Membership fees are non-refundable once a shipment has been processed.
Member benefits (including discounts, events, and exclusive wines) are subject to availability and may change over time.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless items are faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including images, text, branding and design, is the property of Hungerhill Vineyard and may not be used without permission.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or services.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
