It's been a fantastic start to the summer here at Hungerhill!
Our Summer Wine Tastings returned and have completely sold out—thank you to everyone who booked to spend time with us in the vineyard.
Our first Wine & Pizza Evening on 11th July was also a huge success. It was such a pleasure to welcome back so many familiar faces while also meeting plenty of new ones. The evening was filled with a wonderful atmosphere, delicious wood-fired pizzas from Stu and his newly converted van, and plenty of great wine.
It was especially exciting to see how much everyone enjoyed our wines, with our Pet Nat proving to be the star of the evening and the most popular choice!
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the vineyard has been thriving. The combination of careful winter pruning, drone frost protection, and nutrient management has really paid off, and the vines have never looked so vigorous.
Like many vineyards this year, we're keeping a close eye on a little powdery mildew and doing everything we can to keep the vines healthy as the grapes continue to ripen.
And finally… Harvest is getting closer! 🍇
We've just launched our Harvest 2026 Waiting List on our website. Every year we invite a small group of volunteers to help hand-pick the grapes that will become our next vintage—a truly unique experience and one of our favourite times of the year.
